About this event

Rust Berlin returns with two substantial talks and an open mic. Lukas Wirth — who has worked on rust-analyzer since 2020 and led the team since 2022, co-authored the Ferrocene Language Specification and is now a Rust Engineer at Zed Industries — asks why macros, IDE support and sanity seem to be a pick-two problem. Leon Matthes, Software Engineer at Slint, follows on reactive programming in Rust. Doors 18:30, talks from 19:00, then lightning talks and networking. Already on a waitlist, which tells you something: this is one of the strongest developer rooms in the city, and the rust-analyzer lead does not speak locally often.
