One practical note that sets it apart from most of what we list: this one's ticketed, €10 on the door, so bring a card or book ahead. It's the single paid event in the window, and for a Friday-night mixer with a dependable turnout it's fair value — you'll get more out of one relaxed evening here than three awkward corporate breakfasts.

It's a monthly, deliberately informal round-table on data and analytics, held upstairs in the Lord Edward with Christchurch Cathedral out the window. No tickets, no talks, no slides — just a round of introductions, a few topics thrown open, and a proper conversation. If big rooms drain you, this is the antidote: a small table, a pint, and people who actually want to dig into the work.
Venue corner: The Bleeding Horse
Friday's mixer lives at The Bleeding Horse on Camden Street, and it's a fitting home for a tech social. There's been a pub on the spot since the seventeenth century, and the current building is all snugs, mezzanines and dark wood — enough nooks that a growing group can spill into a corner without taking over the whole place. It's a five-minute walk from St Stephen's Green, well served by buses down Camden Street and Wexford Street, and surrounded by some of the best casual food in the city if you want to eat first — the Camden Street strip has you covered from tacos to ramen. Get there near the start; the good corners go early, and it's easier to fold into a small group than to break into a big one.

The Morning Grind: AI, Coffee & Connection listed for Saturday 25 July was cancelled by the organiser, with everyone refunded. If you see it floating around a listing or a shared calendar, it's stale — don't make the trip.
