London tech events this week: climate capital, Newspeak takes over, and a founder-heavy few days (24-30 Jul 2026)

If you drew a map of London tech this week, two things would light up. One is money meeting mission: the calendar is thick with founder-and-investor rooms, and the biggest of them is built entirely around climate. The other is a single address in Bethnal Green that seems to be hosting half the city. If you only have a couple of evenings free between now and Thursday, this is a week where the networking events in London actually reward a plan.

The Big One: Climate Tech Time at The Conduit

The week's anchor is Climate Tech Time on Wednesday 29 July at The Conduit (£10.75). It bills itself as the UK's largest monthly climate-tech gathering, and the room backs that up: VCs, angels, startup founders, corporates and academics all in one place for an evening built for high-signal conversation rather than panel-watching. Monday 28 July splits two ways. Data people and campaigners head back to Newspeak House for the Campaign Lab Summer Hack Night (free) — bring a laptop and a project.
