Paris tech events this week: an AI-builder run through les grandes vacances (24-30 Jul 2026)
Paris tech events 24-30 July: a technical AI, ML & Computer Vision meetup at InstaDeep, two AI-builder nights, a governance salon, plus a Friday tech mixer.
We've only recently opened up Paris, so treat this as a hand-picked first look rather than the whole map — and this particular week, the map is deliberately small. It's late July, les grandes vacances are underway, and the city thins out fast before August empties it almost completely. That's exactly when curation earns its keep. The tech events in Paris this week are few, but they share a spine worth turning up for: this is an AI-builder week, and the good rooms are technical.
The Big One: Paris AI, ML & Computer Vision Meetup
⭐ Featured, and one of the hottest events on our Paris list. Paris AI, ML & Computer Vision Meetup — Tuesday 28 July, 19:30, InstaDeep, hosted by Voxel51, free.
This is the technical anchor of the week. Voxel51 brings together engineers, researchers and AI practitioners for expert talks across AI, machine learning and computer vision, and it's held at InstaDeep — a serious room for a serious meetup. If you write models rather than decks, this is the evening that respects your time: real talks, real practitioners, no watered-down "intro to AI" energy. Free to attend, and given how hot it's running, worth registering early rather than assuming you can walk up.
Theme of the week: AI builders
Three of this week's five events point the same direction — people building with AI, not just talking about it.

AI Builders Night — Loop Engineering Edition (Wed 29 July, Le Carlie, free) is the clearest expression of it. Run by Hold My Club, it's pitched at everyone from people shipping agents to the merely agent-curious, and this edition goes deep on loop engineering — the plan, act, observe, repeat cycle that makes agents actually work. Alongside it, the Voxel51 meetup and Startup Valley's networking night (below) round out a week where the centre of gravity is clearly the builder.
The week ahead, by day
Friday 24 July — Paris Tech Mixer & Social, Hide Pub Club, €3. An informal Friday-evening mixer for the city's tech crowd — engineers, data scientists, security folks, PMs, founders and students. The only paid ticket of the week, and at three euros, essentially a door fee for an easy afterwork.
Tuesday 28 July — Paris AI, ML & Computer Vision Meetup (see The Big One). The technical highlight.
Tuesday 28 July — AI & Tech Networking Paris, Cafe des Arts, free. A Startup Valley pitch-and-networking night connecting founders, angels, VC partners and AI professionals. More social than the Voxel51 meetup happening the same evening, so pick by mood: talks or introductions.
Wednesday 29 July — Prototyping the Future: RadicalxChange x Plurality x Planetizen, Learning Planet Institute, free. The week's outlier and its most intellectual: a governance-and-plurality salon on how we redesign the way we coordinate, govern and build in an age of institutional strain. If you're drawn to the political edge of tech, this is your evening.
Wednesday 29 July — AI Builders Night (Loop Engineering Edition) (see Theme of the week).
Organiser spotlight: Startup Valley
Worth knowing who's keeping the lights on through the vacances. Startup Valley runs the AI & Tech Networking Paris nights, and they're a reliable fixture of the city's builder-and-founder scene — the kind of recurring, low-friction room that keeps a young calendar alive when the institutions are shuttered for August. If you're new to Paris tech and want one organiser to follow, they're a sensible first bookmark.
By the numbers
Five events this week, four of them free — the lone paid ticket is the €3 Friday mixer. Three of the five are explicitly AI-builder events, which is a strong signal for a mid-vacances week. It's a small calendar, honestly, but a coherent one.
What's next, and a look back
Just outside this window: our own Startup Networking Workshop #25 lands at Station F on 4 August — a curated session for early-stage founders and ecosystem partners in the world's largest startup campus. Worth holding the date now if you're around for the start of the month.
Last week, briefly. Paris punched above its summer weight: Workshop #23 ran at Station F on 21 July, the Anthropic Claude Founder House Builder Cohort (22 July, featured and hot) opened its afternoon to developers and solo builders, and Mistral AI's Vibe Hackathon (18 July) capped a genuinely strong AI week. The builders clearly haven't all left town yet.
