Amsterdam AI Thesis Awards 2026

Amsterdam AI's annual thesis prizes for BSc and MSc work from UvA, VU and AUAS (HvA), presented at NEMO Science Museum on the same afternoon as the AI Impact Festival. Winners are announced about three weeks beforehand and present their work at the ceremony; each prize carries a cash award and a certificate. Nominations come from supervisors, and eligible theses need a final grade of at least 8.0 and a completion date between 25 September 2025 and 25 September 2026. The selection committee is co-chaired by Stefano Di Giorgis and Mina Ghadimiatigh, with a steering committee drawn from the three universities including Evangelos Kanoulas, Peter Bloem, Somaya Ben Allouch, Laura Hollink, Saskia Robben and Cees Snoek.
