Birmingham Muslims in Tech: Speed Mentoring

Three hours of short, rotating mentoring conversations run by Birmingham Muslims in Tech, part of the official Birmingham Tech Week fringe programme. The format is deliberately informal: sit down with someone a few steps ahead of you for career or technical guidance, or take the other chair and mentor. Introductions and open networking run throughout. At School of Coding & AI on Livery Street, 17:00 to 20:00. Completely free, with food and drinks provided. No speakers are listed, because the value is the conversations rather than a stage. Why go: mentoring events that are both free and properly staffed are scarce in Birmingham, and this one deliberately mixes people entering the industry with people already in it. Best for career-changers, students and junior developers, and for mid-career technologists who want to give a couple of hours back.
