Digital Factory, Real Risk: Where Digital Transformation Meets Cyber

Target Integration hosts a session at Alpha Works on what happens to the attack surface when industrial systems and OT environments get connected to cloud platforms, 15:00 to 17:00. The premise is that the efficiency gains of the digital factory arrive with new attack vectors attached, and that most manufacturers are further ahead on connectivity than on the security strategy to go with it. The session works through where those risks actually sit in a connected production environment and what a credible cyber strategy looks like alongside a transformation programme. Free, in person, on the 22nd floor of Alpha Tower during Birmingham Tech Week. Why go: OT security is badly under-covered in a region built on advanced manufacturing. Best for manufacturing IT and operations leads, and security people whose remit has just grown to include the factory floor.
