About this event
A hands-on evening in the Jewellery Quarter built around drop-in stations rather than a lecture. Monica Chumber takes CVs, portfolios, interview prep and career direction; Luke Davies runs a code clinic for bugs, tricky problems, side projects and pair-debugging. Short talks sit in the middle, with speakers still to be confirmed at the time of listing. Good Growth engineers are in the room throughout.
Doors and drop-in stations from 18:00, welcome at 18:30, talks from 18:35, wrap-up and final chats 19:30, close 20:00. At The Jointworks on Frederick Street. Free, with limited capacity, and the stations need no booking. The venue is accessible and the organisers ask attendees to flag specific needs when registering.
Why go: you can turn up with a real problem, a broken build or a weak portfolio, and leave with it addressed, which almost no meetup offers. Best for developers, designers, students and career-changers in the West Midlands.
