About this event

The launch of Virtual Decisions: VAWG, a multi-branching VR programme that drops the wearer into decision-led scenarios on misogyny, coercive control, positive masculinity and healthy relationships, then plays out the consequences of their choices in real time. It was developed with academic partners at the University of Birmingham, and the team describe it as evidence-based and trauma-informed, aligned to the government's Freedom from Violence and Abuse strategy and to KCSIE 2026 guidance. You can try the experience yourself, hear from the people who built it, and talk through how an organisation would actually put it into its working practices. 14:30 to 17:00 at the NatWest Accelerator on St Philip's Place, free. No individual speakers are named on the listing. Why go: branching VR built for behaviour change, with the team and the research behind it in the room. Best for anyone building immersive products, and for schools, HR and safeguarding leads deciding whether this kind of thing works.
