Berlin tech this week: 26 events down to 13, and Thursday carries it (23-29 October 2026)

Tech events in Berlin, 23-29 October: 13 on the city page, half of last week.

Twenty-six events on our Berlin city page last week. Thirteen this week. NVIDIA's GTC had pulled a whole satellite calendar into orbit around it — keynote watch parties, inference meetups, an investors-only beer at 19:00 — and when GTC packed up on Thursday, half the week's tech events in Berlin went with it. What's left is leaner and, in a few places, better.

Friday and the weekend

Friday splits at 15:00. Graphs Gone Wild — Mini Hack runs at CODE University of Applied Sciences, free, from Global AI Berlin — a short hands-on session, not a weekend-long build. Same hour, Backchannel Berlin (with Inworld), also free, and our row has no venue at all: the address arrives with your confirmation. Then 18:30, Lenny's Newsletter Meetup, drinks courtesy of PostHog, address again behind registration. Three decent rooms, two of which won't tell you where they are until you sign up.

Saturday belongs to Stripe x Supabase: AI Payments for the Real Economy Hack at Revent from 10:00, free, hosted by the22nd. Payments plumbing with agents on top, which is a more concrete brief than most hack days manage.

Sunday: nothing on the page, which is the right answer for Berlin in late October.

The Big One: Thursday 29 October

Two of the week's three spotlights land on the same day, and a free breakfast opens it. Nothing overlaps. Clear the diary.

Women in Tech EMEA Summit 2026 opens at 11:30 at smartvillage Berlin. EUR 80, run by FemTechConf, and the only paid conference on the city page this week — also the only room pulling a delegate list from across EMEA rather than from Kreuzberg.

Before it, AI Breakfast: Rewiring the Material Economy at Merantix AI Campus from 09:00, free — AI pointed at materials and industrial supply, which is the part of the German AI argument with actual factories behind it. After it, Thursday Gathering #76 at CIC Berlin from 17:00, free, Venture Café's weekly and still the easiest room in the city to walk into on your own.

Doing all three is physically possible and probably a mistake. Breakfast then the summit, or the summit then CIC.

Monday to Wednesday

Monday. Coffee & Code #9 at Merantix AI Campus, 14:00, free. Laptops, an afternoon, no programme.

Tuesday. Near Legion Berlin #2 at Circuit from 17:00, free, from AI Agents Berlin. An hour later, From Product Manager to Product Builder at the Scout24 Community Hub with OpenAI — free, hands-on, PMs building instead of specifying. The best-value ticket of the week at zero euros.

Wednesday is the second pile-up. Scaling Across Borders: Best of UK's Fintech & Green Tech in Berlin is at Industrious, 18:00, free, run by Grow London Global: British fintech and climate companies hunting German customers and German capital. One of very few rooms this week with an openly commercial agenda.

Same evening, Berlin Deep Tech Nexus Meetup #13 at TU Berlin, Einsteinufer 25, from 18:00, free, powered by Science & Startups. And Founders & Friends Berlin Meetup at Mindspace Kurfürstendamm from 18:30, EUR 17.17 — the week's only paid meetup.

Last week, briefly

GTC Berlin ran Tuesday to Thursday at STATION-Berlin at EUR 357 a badge, and the free orbit around it did the real work: Startup Grind's Jensen Huang keynote watch party at NLND Neuland, Baseten's Inference on Tap at Fabrik 23, the Nebius Open Source AI Salon, and Angels & Beers for investors only at 19:00. Thursday Gathering #75 put DisruptHR Berlin 3.0 into CIC the same night GTC closed. None of it repeats. That's the whole explanation for a thirteen-event week, and it's why the standing series — Merantix, CIC, TU Berlin — matter more than usual.

Who should go where

Builders, your week is the good one. Tuesday's Scout24 x OpenAI workshop and Saturday's Stripe/Supabase hack are both free and both end with something that runs. Monday's Coffee & Code if you want quiet company instead of a programme. Skip the AI panels this week; the hands-on options are better.

Founders, Wednesday. Scaling Across Borders for UK partners, Deep Tech Nexus if you're closer to a lab than a launch, Founders & Friends if you want volume and don't mind paying EUR 17.17 for it.

Investors, thin. Thursday Gathering #76 casts the widest net, Deep Tech Nexus has the earliest-stage science. Nobody is pitching from a stage this week.

Sales and marketing, one room with buyers in it: Scaling Across Borders.

Worth knowing

  • SAP TechEd runs in Berlin 27-29 October at Messe Berlin, EUR 1,999 standard — and it's missing from our city page. We posted it with a hybrid format, our API converted that into an online event, and our own no-online-events rule then pulled it from the page. The recovery attempt archived both the English and German rows. SAP publishes badge-collection hours and no session start time, so we can't repost it cleanly either. Germany's largest SAP developer event, running this week, invisible here. Book through SAP directly.
  • Executive Forum: From AI Adoption to Measurable ROI (10 November) is invite-only, closed-door and capped at ten senior leaders. We sent that status to the database; it stored "available". It's off our city page for that reason, and wherever else you see it listed as bookable, it isn't.
  • WomenHack Berlin on 29 October is off our page because the venue still hasn't been announced.
  • Berlin Science Week's anonymous digital psychotherapy session (3 November): allevents.in says 16:30, we hold 17:30. A one-hour gap is the shape of a timezone conversion error, and the Science Week programme doesn't settle it. Off the page until it does.
  • Qubes OS Summit runs 30 October to 1 November from 09:30 — one day past this edition's window, and the strongest thing on the Berlin calendar that nobody has spotlighted. It leads next week's post.

First time in a Berlin room?

Start times here are softer than the listing. The published hour is usually when the door opens, not when anyone speaks, and a 19:00 meetup rarely has anyone on their feet before 19:30. Register before you leave the house: Backchannel, Lenny's and Angels & Beers all keep the address behind registration, and Berlin hosts on Luma read your profile before approving you, so fill it in. English is the working language in nearly every room this week; the German-language ones say so on the listing.

Across the network

Amsterdam's week leans the other way — two conferences, 48 hours. Apsara Conference is free at the Beurs van Berlage on Thursday 29th, and FastAPI Conf takes the Transformatorhuis on Wednesday for EUR 250. Amsterdam listings here.

Running something in Berlin we've missed? Send it over. And if a listing on our Berlin page contradicts your own event page, tell us — this week it happened twice.
