Berlin tech events this week: what you walk out with (9-15 October 2026)

Berlin tech events 9-15 Oct: 30 on the city page, 20 free, nine on Thursday alone.

Tuesday, doors at 18:30, a coworking space called Techtelmechtel: Berlin's Ruby community meets for the second time in its life. Berlin.rb #2 has no ticket price, no sponsor and no history to trade on - talks at 19:00, networking until 22:00. It is the smallest thing on this page and the clearest reminder that Berlin's tech events still get built from nothing by a few people who felt like it.

Around it: 30 events on the Berlin city page between Friday and Thursday, 20 free, nine crammed into Thursday alone, and 21 of the 30 in English. Last Wednesday the CityCube held seven conferences at once; this week the best room in the city is a free Thursday evening in Treptow. We have sorted the networking events in Berlin this week by what you walk out with: a working thing, an argument, or a contact.

You leave with a working thing

Sat 10 Oct, 09:00 - MeasureCamp Berlin 2026, SumUp, free, and already waitlisted. A Saturday unconference for digital analytics with no agenda until the morning, when whoever turned up writes it on a wall. We said a week early that it would gate. It has.

Fri 9 Oct, 17:30 - Claude Code + Notion: Build Your AI Content System in 3 Hours, CIC Berlin, EUR 49. Three hours wiring Claude Code into Notion until it generates for LinkedIn, Instagram and the rest. You leave with a running system, not notes about one.

Mon 12 Oct, 18:00 - AWS Women's User Group Berlin technical workshop, Amazon BER21, free. Spec-driven development with Claude Code at Level 200, led by Sana Shah, in Amazon's Friedrichshain office. Beginner-friendly in the honest sense: you type.

Wed 14 Oct, 18:00 - GitHub Copilot Workshop with Sandra Ahlgrimm, Deutsche Bank Berlin Technology Centre, free. Agent-driven development, taught by the person who runs developer experience for Copilot's JetBrains integrations. Berlin BankTech Nights hosting, so expect a bank's engineering floor.

You leave with an argument

Conference season is mid-swing, and five of this week's are paid with no published price: Scala Days 2026 and the Software Architecture Summit from Monday 09:00, KanDDDinsky 2026 and the Product-Led Summit Berlin from Wednesday, and KubeAuto Day Berlin on Thursday, a CNCF day on Kubernetes inside the vehicle. None of the five stores a venue either; register and the address comes back.

Two do publish, and both are expensive: JavaScript & Angular Days at the Maritim proArte, EUR 699, workshops 12 to 14 October and conference the 15th and 16th, and the two-day Future Technologies Conference at the NYX Hotel Berlin Köpenick from Thursday, EUR 650.

The free arguments sit in the evenings: PyBerlin 61 on Wed at 18:30 at Nelly Solutions, three talks with unusually little overlap; Pipelines, Privacy and the Collector Fleet on Thu at 18:00 at EBCONT, Kafka and Elasticsearch together with Olena Kutsenko of Confluent; Pricing AI Adoption on Tue at 18:30, a fireside on what decides whether an AI product spreads inside a company, address with the registration; and AI Monday Berlin at Publix on Mon at 17:30, in Neukölln's house for public-interest media.

You leave with a contact

Fri 9 Oct, 09:00 - Digital Marketing over Breakfast Berlin #97, Coffee Lab Kaiserhöfe, EUR 9. Ninety-seven editions of a breakfast with roughly ten seats. The scarcity is the format.

Fri 9 Oct, 18:00 - Builders Meetup, Berlin Edition, betahaus Kreuzberg, free. Venture building and scaling, for people doing it rather than reading about it.

Wednesday daytime, both free: the SIBB x BITMi Business Breakfast at 08:30 at AI startup nenna.ai, and the Agentic Economy Forum at the AI Campus in Wedding at 10:00.

Thursday evening then splits. From Lab to 1.2M at hubraum at 18:00 is Angelina Lesnikova on turning lab credibility into a first round. The Berlin AI Conference 2026 at SPACE SHACK at 18:00 seats around 150 leaders around executives from Taxfix, getolo, Sunday Natural, Rhapsody and Babbel, EUR 45.

Organiser spotlight: Berlin.rb

New to our records this week, and worth your attention because it is new. Berlin.rb is run by five hosts - Viktor Schmidt, Riko T, Carmine Paolino, Manuel Meurer and Mikita Pridorozhko - and Tuesday is only its second edition. Ruby communities outlast the hype cycles around them, and edition two is the one moment you can walk in and be an original.

Theme of the week: the state turns up

Three rooms carry Bitkom's name, all on Tuesday, all free. The Smart Country Convention 2026 runs three days from 09:00 in Messe Berlin's hub27, Europe's main gathering on digital government. Inside it, the GovTech Meetup at 16:00 is a founder-to-founder hour at Bitkom's booth in Hall 25 - you need convention access to reach it. Then EdTech Exchange 2026 at 18:00 puts EdTech startups in front of teachers and education policymakers, pitches included. If your customer is a Land, a Bezirk or a school, this is your week.

The big one: deep tech gets the main slot

Thu 15 Oct, 17:00 - Thursday Gathering #74: Advanced Materials Competition, CIC Berlin, free.

<img src="https://joezfbehxxpcrpliygvo.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/hero-images/event-berlin-thursday-gathering-74-advanced-materials-competition-1015.webp" alt="Thursday Gathering #74 advanced materials competition at CIC Berlin" class="w-full rounded-lg my-6" loading="lazy" />

Venture Cafe Berlin's weekly gathering is reliable; this edition is not ordinary. It is built around an advanced-materials competition, so materials-science teams present to a room holding both the founder crowd and the people who fund it. Materials is the hardest category to raise into and the easiest to ignore at a generalist event, and a Thursday where it takes the main slot earns the trip to Treptow. Three Berlin rooms are featured in our data this week; this is the only free one, and the only one of nine Thursday events we would clear an evening for.

Who should go where

Sales and marketing, your week is unusually good. Berlin rarely programmes for you. MeasureCamp on Saturday if the waitlist moves, the Product-Led Summit on Wednesday if your company is arguing about self-serve, and Pricing AI Adoption on Tuesday - the sharpest hour on the page if you price AI features.

Builders. Two free hands-on rooms, and take both: AWS Women's User Group on Monday, the Copilot workshop on Wednesday. For talks, PyBerlin over the Thursday data evening unless streaming is your day job. Skip the unpriced conferences unless an employer is paying.

Founders and investors, same answer. Thursday Gathering #74 is the one room where both sides of the table show up, and for investors the only one this week that is not a conference ticket. Pre-seed and technical founders should weigh From Lab to 1.2M the same evening - two buildings an hour apart, so choose.

Worth knowing

  • MeasureCamp's waitlist survived our ingest, which normally flattens sold-out and waitlist back to "available". One that still reaches you has effectively been confirmed twice. Treat Saturday as gated.
  • Five paid conferences, no figures. Scala Days, the Software Architecture Summit, KanDDDinsky, the Product-Led Summit and KubeAuto Day are paid; none carries a price in our feed, so we print none. Seven of the 30 listings have no address either - deliberate, and all seven release it on registration.
  • One room is public on paper, closed in practice. The executive roundtable on AI in healthcare and pharma at the Merantix AI Campus on Thursday sits on the campus calendar but reads invitation-only. Ask first.
  • One start time we do not believe. The JavaScript and Angular Days row stores a 02:00 Monday start - an artefact, not a midnight workshop. The dates hold, 12 to 16 October, but take the daily start from S&S Media.

Tell us what we are missing

Thirty events this week against nine last week, and Berlin.rb is here because somebody went looking. That is the whole mechanism. If you run a meetup, a workshop or a pitch night that is missing from our Berlin listings, send it over - what lands this week shapes next Friday's post.
