Paris tech events this week: ten rooms, and Tuesday takes four of them (16-22 October 2026)

Paris tech events 16-22 Oct: ten on the page, seven free.

There is nothing on our Paris page today. The first of this week's tech events in Paris is tomorrow at one in the afternoon, and between then and Thursday night the city gives us ten, seven of them free. Sunday is empty too.

Ten, after a week that carried thirty-one. Paris is one of our younger pages, which we read as a reason to be useful rather than voluminous. Ten rooms, then, in descending order of the building - in Paris the building tells you most of what you need to know.

The big one: TERATEC fills the Palais des Congres

Tue 20 Oct, 09:00 - Forum TERATEC 2026, Palais des Congres de Paris. Free.

Two days of conference and exhibition on high-performance computing, numerical simulation, AI and quantum computing, and the highest-scoring thing on our Paris page this week. It earns the headline on arithmetic as much as content: a Palais des Congres programme with an exhibition floor, at no ticket price, is the cheapest access to French industrial computing you will get this year. Manufacturers, research labs, the public-research side, and the people selling into all three. Mostly French-language. If the talks read too deep, work the exhibition floor - that is where procurement happens.

Then the campuses

Tue 20 Oct, 09:00 - Meetup Greentech 2026, STATION F. Free. A full day on the Open Platform for the French greentech community: climate startups, the funds backing them, the public bodies around them. The week's other free all-day programme - same hour, other end of the city. In French.

Mon 19 Oct, 18:00 - Startup Networking Workshop #39, STATION F. Free. FlexUp's thirty-ninth edition, in English: short presentations, then open networking, deliberately small. Number 38 ran last Monday; the series has not missed a week on our page.

Sat 17 Oct, 13:00 - Evenement Mediapart : Hacker la Tech, Espace Niemeyer. Free. A Mediapart afternoon on what the digital giants do to the world and the levers to resist them. The political register of French tech rather than the commercial one, and the only thing on the page all weekend. In French.

The offices, and one false friend

Thu 22 Oct, 09:00 - 2026 European Quantum Summit, Paris Marriott Rive Gauche. Paid, no figure published to us. Read the description before you clear two days: it is Component Control's user conference for Quantum, its ERP platform for aviation maintenance and parts distribution. Customer implementations, not qubits.

Tue 20 Oct, 10:00 - Awin Meet Up: Growth & Innovation. Free. Affiliate-marketing practitioners at Awin's own Paris office. Our venue field holds the company, not a street: the address comes with your registration.

The small rooms

Tue 20 Oct, 18:00 - Founders Pitch & Networking Night in Paris, Cafe des Arts. Free. Live pitches, investor feedback, then time with other founders. In English, and the only room where a founder pitches and gets an answer the same evening.

Wed 21 Oct, 19:30 - LES CERCLES DE L'IA - Agents IA : mode d'emploi, Le Galant. 5.80 EUR. Everyone says "AI agent"; almost nobody agrees what it means. Les Cercles de l'IA take the term apart and send you home able to use it precisely. The cheapest serious hour on the page.

Thu 22 Oct, 18:00 - les interpreneurs - thursday gathering, Le Nelson's near the Louvre. Free. An open floor to pitch your business, in English. The week's last room, and its most informal.

Hidden gem: France gets its first BSides for industrial control systems

Thu 22 Oct, 08:30 - BSides ICS/OT Paris 2026. 11.85 EUR. One day, non-profit, community-run, two tracks on industrial control system and operational technology security - and the first French edition. France has the industrial base to make OT security a national subject, and this is the first time the community-conference format has been pointed at it here. Twelve euros, French and English mixed, address on registration.

Last week, briefly

Last week was the peak of the French autumn: ai-PULSE took the whole Open Platform at STATION F, the MIT Paris Symposium filled the Auditorium Bouygues, eleven rooms opened on the Thursday alone. No next ai-PULSE date announced. The calendar has exhaled - and ten rooms with distance between them is the better week for actually talking to someone.

Who should go where

Investors, your week is one morning. Greentech puts the climate funds, the startups and the public money in one building; Tuesday evening's pitch night is the early-stage version. One slot only? Spend it before lunch on Tuesday.

Founders. FlexUp #39 on Monday for a few minutes and a room, the Cafe des Arts on Tuesday if you want the pitch answered. Skip the Quantum Summit unless aviation parts is your market.

Builders. TERATEC if your work touches compute or simulation, BSides ICS/OT if it touches a factory floor. Wednesday's 5.80 EUR will do more for your vocabulary than another agent demo.

Sales and marketing. One room: Awin on Tuesday morning, and only if affiliate is your channel.

Worth knowing

  • Two 09:00 starts on Tuesday, both free, both all day, at opposite ends of the city. Four of the ten land on Tuesday. Pick the one that matches your market, and let the other go.
  • Two listings carry no building. BSides ICS/OT releases the address on registration; the Awin meetup names a company, not a street. Both are the organiser's choice, not a gap.
  • The page is filling behind this week. The week of 30 November was blank on our calendar a fortnight ago and now carries nine events. A thin week is a snapshot of our sourcing, not a verdict on the city.

Tell us what we are missing

Ten is honest, not complete. Everything we hold sits on the Paris listings page, and the fastest way to change next Friday is to send us what we missed - a meetup, an afterwork, a demo night, a lab open day.
