Paris tech events this week: the weekend does the work (6-12 November 2026)

Paris tech events 6-12 Nov: ten rooms, four of them before Sunday, an empty Tuesday and Wednesday, and France's armament chief on stage Monday night.

Paris tech events this week: the weekend does the work

Last week this page carried twenty-three rooms. This week there are ten tech events in Paris between tonight and next Thursday, and four happen before Sunday. Tuesday and Wednesday are empty. A lopsided week rather than a weak one: two Friday-night builder rooms, a weekend hackathon, then a hard stop until Monday.

Paris is one of our newer pages, so ten is what we have read and will stand behind, not everything happening in the city. The empty Tuesday is empty on our page. Send us what we missed.

Friday and Saturday carry it

AI Builders Meetup #11: Build a Working App with AI in One Evening - Fri 6 Nov, 20:00, École 42, free to register, in French. AI FIRST runs this edition with the 42AI student association. A mini-hackathon rather than talks: you leave with something that runs.

Real World Cryptography Paris Meetup 5 - Fri 6 Nov, 20:00, EPITA in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, EUR 10. Five talks, in a bigger room than previous editions. Ten euros for five cryptography talks is the best value on the page this week.

H Company x 42AI: Computer Use Agents Hackathon - Sat 7 Nov, 10:00, La Maison, free to register. A weekend on computer-use agents - the kind that drive real websites and desktop apps to finish a task - with H Company's Agents API and models on the table. If you have been reading about agents instead of building them, fix that this weekend.

Paris, France: Community Day meetup - Sat 7 Nov, 16:00, La Felicità, free to register, bilingual. Home Assistant, ESPHome and Music Assistant people comparing setups and automations. Not a startup room, and not pretending to be one.

Monday, then a hole

ISG AI Impact Summit 2026 - Mon 9 Nov, 10:00, Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel, EUR 1,295, two days. Enterprise AI from the analyst firm ISG, with a Startup Challenge on day one. The price names the audience: if you do not sell to large enterprises, skip it.

Design & Leadership: Finding Your Stance as a Leader - Mon 9 Nov, 20:30, free to register, in French. The Design Impro Crew back at Le Laptop with a workshop for Heads of Design and Lead Product Designers, built on improvisation theatre. No acting experience expected.

Monday's third room is the biggest thing on the page this week, and it closes this post.

Then nothing on Tuesday or Wednesday, and three rooms inside half an hour on Thursday. Designing AI Products People Trust is at STATION F at 19:00, free; World Class Design's line is that AI can produce the pixels but not the trust. Second Opinion by Alan: Agents in Production, Beyond the Demo runs at the same hour, free, three talks and Q&A with Thomas Humeau from Alan. Claude Workshop x swanbase starts at 19:30, free, in French, with worked cases in sales, marketing, physical AI and research.

Who should go where

Designers, Monday and Thursday are the two senior design rooms on our Paris page this month. Monday at Le Laptop is about how you hold a room; Thursday at Station F is about what you ship.

Builders, your week is the weekend. Friday at École 42 or EPITA, Saturday at La Maison - three hands-on rooms in thirty-six hours, then the calendar leaves you alone until Thursday.

Founders, thin week. Thursday at Station F if you are putting AI in front of customers, swanbase if you are still deciding what to put there.

Investors, no demo day and no pitch night this week. Monday night is the one room where capital and procurement stand together, and it closes this post.

Venue corner: the schools are running the week

Three of this week's ten rooms sit in engineering schools: École 42 on Friday, EPITA the same evening, La Maison on Saturday. Two are co-organised by 42's student AI association rather than by a company, which is unusual on this page. All three are free or ten euros, and all three are hands-on. For the under-25 end of Paris AI, these are the doors.

Worth knowing

  • Friday's two builder rooms both start at 20:00, at École 42 and at EPITA. Pick one before you leave work.
  • Two of the ten rows carry no venue - Design & Leadership and Second Opinion by Alan. The address arrives with your confirmation in both cases.
  • Our price field defaults to free when an organiser publishes nothing, so "free to register" here is derived, not confirmed. Every Paris event sits in the database twice, once per language; the French page is no machine translation.

The big one, saved for last: France's armament chief, Monday night

Aero & Defence Club with Patrick Pailloux, French Armament Director General - Mon 9 Nov, 20:00, Cercle de l'Union Interalliée, EUR 60, in French.

<img src="https://joezfbehxxpcrpliygvo.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/hero-images/event-paris-aero-defence-club-with-patrick-pailloux-french-armament-director-general-1109.webp" alt="Aero & Defence Club with Patrick Pailloux, French Armament Director General, at the Cercle de l'Union Interalliée" class="w-full rounded-lg my-6" loading="lazy" />

The INSEAD Alumni Association France Aero & Defence Club hosts Patrick Pailloux, France's Délégué général pour l'armement, for a talk and then a cocktail. The cocktail is the point: it is where defence-tech founders get three minutes with the person who runs French arms procurement. It sits last because it is the least repeatable room of the week. The hackathons come round again.

Tell us what we are missing

The page refills from next weekend: AI Evening at Le Grand Rex on the 14th, Forward Data Conference and the Paris Tech Forum at Station F on the 16th, the Assises de la confiance numérique on the 17th, Tech Show Paris at Porte de Versailles on the 18th.

Browse the full Paris listings and plan Monday. If you run something here we have not found, send it - a week with an empty Tuesday is an open invitation.
