About this event

A quarterly data and AI meetup, this edition hosted inside Aviva's North Bristol offices, with the engineers who built the things doing the talking. Sikandar Nawaz, Principal Data and AI Engineer at Aviva, and Ellie Haines, Data Engineer, open with what Aviva has actually shipped on AI and agentic AI projects. Tom Puffit, Head of Data Analytics at Audley Travel, follows; his topic was still to be confirmed at the time of listing. Welcome drinks from 17:30, talks from 18:00, running to 20:30. Free, with free parking on site. DataCurious is part of the TekCurious community run by Peaple Talent, which draws a mix of large UK PLCs, scale-ups and startups. Why go: in-house engineers describing production AI work inside a large insurer is a harder thing to find than a vendor demo or a founder story. Best for data engineers, analytics leads and anyone deciding whether agentic AI is real yet.
