Hack Night

CodeHub's fortnightly social coding night, and the last one before Christmas. Gather at DeskLodge from 6pm, intros at 6:30, then roughly 90 minutes of solo or paired work on whatever you bring - a side project, a tutorial, a coding challenge - and a wrap-up at 8:15. No talk, no agenda, no skill floor. People bring back-burner projects they never find time for, and some pair up on the night. Bring a laptop. Free. Arrive by 6:30 at the latest, as reception closes after working hours and late arrivals can't be let in. Why go: in a week when almost everything else in Bristol has stopped for Christmas, this is the room still running, and it is the most reliable standing invitation in the city for anyone who just wants to sit and build something with other people. Best for developers at any level and anyone learning to code.
