November Innovation Breakfast

A small, deliberately agenda-free breakfast discussion about innovation and technology as they actually land in a business. November's topic is the cost of postponing change: legacy systems, manual workarounds and technical debt, how to tell when a workaround has become a problem, why change stalls, and how to choose what to tackle first. Hosted by Dolo Miah for New Icon, who guides the conversation rather than presenting. The group is capped at eight people. Doors at 08:00, discussion 08:30 to 09:30, with optional networking until 10:00. Breakfast and coffee are provided, at Runway East Bristol Bridge on Victoria Street. Free, with eight places. The organiser states explicitly that there is no presentation and no sales pitch. Why go: eight people around one table is a genuinely different conversation from a room of fifty, and the topic is the unglamorous one most teams avoid.
