About this event

Pervasive Media Studio opens its first-floor space at Watershed every Friday so anyone can come in, hot desk, make a drink in the kitchenette and talk informally with the studio team and its residents. At 13:00 everyone is invited into the Event Space for a free hour-long Lunchtime Talk; on 16 October that is The Knot Makers with British Somali artist and researcher Fozia Ismail. Run by Watershed and the studio team, with residents and speakers drawn from the studio and wider community. Open 10:00 to 17:00, and no prior knowledge of creative technology is needed. Free, donations welcome. No booking to visit the studio; booking is recommended for the Lunchtime Talk. Wheelchair accessible, with a quiet room and adjustable desks. Why go: it is the most reliable low-effort way into Bristol's creative-technology scene, because the residents are actually there and willing to talk. Best for people exploring art, tech and society rather than anyone hunting a sales lead.
