A mini dataviz "unconference"

Dublin Dataviz follows its Dublin Tech Week workshop with an unconference at The Digital Hub on Thomas Street. There is no fixed agenda and no speaker list. Attendees set the sessions on the night and the format runs on what the room collectively knows rather than one person presenting to the rest. The group is explicit that this is a deliberate break from its usual talk-plus-Q&A evening and that the normal format returns afterwards. Places are limited and there is a EUR 5 charge, which goes entirely on pizza. Drinks in Arthur's afterwards. Why go: unconferences work when the attendees are good, and this group's are - analysts, designers and researchers who argue about chart choices for a living. Best for anyone who makes charts other people have to act on.
