AI in Irish Manufacturing Talk

UCD MechSoc and I-Form, the Research Ireland Centre for Advanced Manufacturing, host a 50-minute guest talk on how Irish manufacturers are actually adopting AI: what is already running in production, where it stalls, and how it is reshaping engineering roles and skills. Dr Victoria McGovern, Senior Business Researcher at UCD Business School and I-Form, presents findings from her research with Irish manufacturing companies, including the problems they have hit. Free, 11:00 to 11:50, room L0.18-LEA in the O'Connor Centre for Learning on UCD's Belfield campus. Pizza afterwards. Why go: a short, free, research-backed read on AI adoption on Irish factory floors instead of vendor slideware. Best for engineers, operations people and anyone tracking where industrial AI is genuinely landing.
