creative soundLAB: 'Hearing Net Zero' NOVEMBER 2026

opera.agency's monthly music-sync showcase and networking evening, at Edinburgh Napier's Bright Red Triangle startup studio. The format connects independent composers, producers and sound designers with studios, music supervisors, agencies, multimedia producers and games teams looking for new music. November's theme is 'Hearing Net Zero'. Johan Englund, Curriculum Leader for Music and Sound Production at Edinburgh College, gives a short talk and Q&A on a collaboration with Changeworks Scotland in which audio students are building sound projects about net zero. Creative technologist David Oxley also shows new work and visual environments. Free, informal, 18:00 to 20:30. Why go: games studios and agencies in Edinburgh hire sound people, and this is the only regular room in the city where those two sides are in the same place. Best for composers and sound designers looking for commercial work, and for producers who need to find them.
