edindies — gamedev co-working in Levels (12 Dec)

Edindies runs a weekly Saturday afternoon co-working session for Edinburgh's independent game developers at LEVELS cafe and lounge on Holyrood Road. The format is deliberately plain: bring whatever you are working on, sit with other people doing the same, and talk when it helps. It runs most Saturdays from 13:00 and is free to attend, with no programme and no speakers — Edinburgh's indie game scene uses it as a standing desk-away-from-desk and as the easiest way to meet other developers, artists and audio people without pitching anything. Why go: Edinburgh and Dundee carry one of the UK's densest games clusters, and this is the city's low-friction entry point to it — one afternoon, no ticket, no agenda. Best for solo and small-studio game developers, and for artists, writers and composers trying to find collaborators.
