Tech Leaders Meetup — Edinburgh

thoughtbot brings its Tech Leaders Meetup to Edinburgh for the first time, in the covered courtyard at Badger & Co on Castle Street. No panels, no presentations, no agenda — drinks, snacks and conversation among founders, engineering leaders and hands-on builders from the local scene. Hosted by Chad Pytel, thoughtbot's co-founder. The courtyard is heated, so the outdoor setting works in late October. Registration is approval-gated and the host had four spots left when we checked, so request a place rather than assuming you can turn up. Why go: a format with no programme lives or dies on who shows up, and thoughtbot's first Edinburgh edition has pulled a room of engineering leads and founders rather than a general networking crowd. Best if you run a team and want peers to compare notes with.
