About this event

techUK and BESA convene policymakers, researchers, school leaders and EdTech suppliers on the collision between safeguarding, screen-time and digital-equity policy. Government is backing AI tutors for disadvantaged pupils while consulting on screen-time limits and publishing AI product standards — the two panels ask whether that pulls schools in one direction or several, and how schools and parents are actually responding. Speakers include Katie Freeman-Tayler (Policy & Research Director, Internet Matters), Dr Anna Lindroos Cermakova (DOHE & European EdTech Alliance) and Andrew Mellor (Co-Founder & CEO, LOQT). Free, at techUK's St Bride Street offices.
