UK Biobank Scientific Conference 2026

UK Biobank's annual scientific conference, at the QEII Centre in Westminster. The resource behind it is one of the largest deeply characterised human cohorts anywhere, half a million participants with linked health records, imaging and whole-genome data, and this is where the research built on it gets presented. Last year's programme ran on omics-driven discovery, linked health records, healthy ageing and access through the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform. The 2026 speaker list and agenda had not been published when this was written. The audience is researchers using the resource alongside academic, industry and policy leaders. Registration is through Eventbrite and the listing does not state a price. Why go: the clearest view in the UK of what large-scale biomedical data is actually producing, and the platform sessions are practical if you work with cohort data.
