About this event

A two-day symposium at the University of Manchester on machine learning for brain-computer interfaces: neural decoding, brain-to-text, brain-to-image and brain-to-action, neurorehabilitation and neuroethics. Invited speakers are Prof. Damien Coyle, Prof. Riccardo Poli, Prof. Tom Carlson, Prof. Aleksandra Vuckovic and Dr. Jacques Carolan. It starts at 09:30 on Monday 30 November and runs into Tuesday 1 December in the Simon Building on Brunswick Street. The symposium is non-archival, and abstract and poster submissions closed on 15 October. Register through ai4bci.com. An Eventbrite RSVP does not count as conference registration. Why go: Manchester rarely gets a neurotech room of this calibre, and the speaker list is the people publishing the BCI decoding work. Best for ML researchers, neurotech founders and clinicians working on neurorehabilitation.
