Venture.Community Manchester Launch Event

Venture.Community, a 500-plus member founder and investor network built out of Yorkshire, opens its Manchester chapter with a four-hour afternoon at Bruntwood SciTech's Circle Square campus, sponsored by Scintilla. The programme is panel discussions with VCT managers, exited founders, investors and advisers drawn from the membership, plus a founder showcase - non-member founders can ask for a pitching slot while places last. The network works with pre-seed to Series A companies across deep tech, climate, manufacturing, medical, academic and compute tech, and says it has helped founders raise 24 million pounds to date. It explicitly encourages applications from founders from underserved backgrounds. No individual speakers are published yet. Places are strictly limited and the organisers collect dietary and access requirements in advance. Why go: a first-day-of-a-new-network room, and the investor mix leans more to VCTs and regional capital than most Manchester founder events. Best for pre-seed and seed founders building something hard.
