A small, curated session at STATION F for early-stage and growing startups, project leads and the ecosystem partners who work with them: short presentations, then open networking. It opens with a brief introduction to FlexUp, followed by short presentations from startup projects and ecosystem participants, with startups given priority so the discussion stays concrete and needs-driven. Organised by Fabrizio Nastri, FlexUp's CEO. Monday 12 October, 18:00 to 19:30. Free, with registration on Eventbrite. Attendance is deliberately limited, and you can opt in to share contact details with other attendees afterwards. Why go: a compact early-evening format where founders can say what they need and actually be heard. Best for early-stage teams at or around STATION F; expect a short pitch for FlexUp itself.
A workshop that uses improvisation to train one of the hardest product skills: meeting your users. Recruiting them, running the interview, asking the right questions, really listening, and sitting with silences and unsettling feedback. Run by the Design Impro Crew at Le Laptop, 7 rue Geoffroy l'Angevin, through concrete, supportive role-play exercises. No acting or user-research experience is needed, only a willingness to try things and get them wrong. Monday 12 October, 19:30 to 21:00. Free, via Meetup. Why go: practising an interview in a room of peers beats reading another guide to it. Best for designers, product managers and founders who know they should talk to users more and want to get better at it.

with Yann Lechelle (Chief Executive Officer, Probabl)
A board-level breakfast briefing at the Cercle de l'Union Interalliée with Yann Lechelle, one of the more direct voices in French tech, under the title "the AI that pays does not say a word" — an argument against the generative-AI myth as it is sold inside large companies. Aimed at directors, board members and executives who have to judge AI investment cases rather than build them, but worth the early start for anyone who has sat through a generative-AI business case they did not believe.
