Twenty-five STEM students from universities across Berlin, Brandenburg, and Dresden take the stage to showcase three months of hands-on work: each team tackled real-world challenges for industry partners under the guidance of tech coaches and mentors, turning concepts into tangible demos. Teams include DiaMonTech (non-invasive blood glucose testing), Alcemy (IoT concrete monitoring), and UCANEO (Direct Air Capture technology). Deep Tech Nexus is the informal Berlin meetup connecting researchers, founders, investors and builders across the city's deep tech ecosystem — AI, quantum, biotech, smart manufacturing, energy, robotics. Edition #11 lands the night before Deep Tech Momentum 2026 kicks off, and it's deliberately set in MotionLab.Berlin's hardware-forward Treptow space where academia, startups and industry collide. Format is raw conversation, unfinished ideas and real people working on hard problems — co-hosted by a growing alliance of Berlin's universities, incubators, research hubs and innovation communities. Free, three hours, and the right warm-up for everything happening across town that week.
