PostgreSQL Usergroup NL Meetup: The Winter Edition

The PostgreSQL User Group NL's winter edition, hosted by JetBrains at its Amsterdam office. Two talks. Jelte Fennema-Nio, PgBouncer maintainer and long-time Postgres contributor, shares the funny and often horrifying lessons he's learned building "Postgres compatible" servers. Nils Dijk walks through the design of Azure HorizonDB and what it takes to separate storage from compute for PostgreSQL. There's space for lightning talks too; message the organisers on Meetup to claim one. 17:30 to 20:30 at JetBrains, Gelrestraat 16. Free, RSVP on Meetup. Why go: two speakers who work deep inside Postgres internals, in the Netherlands' main Postgres community room. Best for database engineers, DBAs and backend developers running Postgres at scale.
