Deep Dive: Data Product and Data Security

Le Wagon's Barcelona campus hosts an evening of two talks on data products and data security, run in partnership with Women Techmakers Barcelona. The pairing is the interesting part: one half on how data products actually get built, the other on how teams keep sensitive information safe once those products exist. Both talks come from people doing this work day to day rather than from a platform vendor. The format is deliberately relaxed, with time set aside for questions and conversation afterwards. Tickets are €10. The speakers had not been announced when this was written — check the Meetup page before you book if the line-up matters to you. Why go: data security usually gets discussed separately from product work, which is exactly why it arrives late and expensive. An evening that puts both in the same room is worth two hours. Best for data engineers, analysts and anyone shipping a data product.
