WomanTech: How to Find a Job in Tech with Sharon C. Hsieh

The November edition of womanTech Barcelona's first-Wednesday session, and this one is about finding a job in tech rather than networking. Sharon C. Hsieh, a senior talent acquisition manager and TA lead who has run group-wide talent strategy across startups and scale-ups, takes an interactive session and then a panel: how applicant tracking systems actually filter, how to position a CV and a LinkedIn profile so they get past them, and what recruiters are doing with the current market. Sofya Nesudimova, an HR business partner and talent strategist, co-facilitates. Open Q&A at the end. Free, 18:00 to 20:00, at the Docplanner / Doctoralia office in Sant Martí. Places are capped and building access needs an approved list in advance, so register early. Why go: job-hunting advice from the person on the other side of the screening, in a room small enough to ask the awkward questions. Best for women in tech between roles or weighing a move.
