Tech Spirit BIVA

Tech Spirit leaves Barcelona for the first time for a half-day evening in Sant Cugat del Vallès, run by the city council with Tech Barcelona. The subject is the Vallès ecosystem: startups, corporates, research centres and universities inside the BIVA alliance. Aleix Valls of WeArtificial keynotes on computation as a company's new operating system. Four panels follow: Antai's Miguel Vicente and Fractus's Ruben Bonet on the local startup scene; Grifols and Boehringer on spin-offs; GFT, HP and Banc Sabadell on open innovation; and a talent panel from UPC, UAB and UIC. Dinner and networking from 20:50. Registration is free through Luma, capacity is limited, and the organising team confirms each place after you sign up. The programme is published in Catalan. Why go: Grifols, HP, Banc Sabadell and Antai on one stage beats most Barcelona evenings for corporate-innovation access, and the Vallès cluster is where a lot of Catalan deep tech sits.
