Monthly lunch for women who invest in startups or want to start, run by SIA Angel Hub on the second Wednesday of the month. This edition is at El Tros de la Rambla, Rambla Catalunya 70, 13:00 to 15:00. Arrival and lunch ordering from 13:00, then round-table introductions, lunch and group discussion from 13:30. Attendees pay for their own lunch. Hosts are Astghik Z. and SIA Angel H. The page asks for a real interest in angel investing and turns away pure networkers and anyone promoting a business or services. Why go: one of very few investor-side rooms in Barcelona this month, and small enough for real conversation. Best for women angels, fund people and curious would-be investors.

A free evening workshop Le Wagon runs with codebar, aimed at people somewhere between beginner and working developer who are using AI tools and are not sure they are using them well. Two things are on offer side by side: programming fundamentals, and practical ways to work with AI tools responsibly. It suits you if you are learning to code and want guidance from experienced developers, if you are stuck on a personal project, or if you are thinking about moving into tech and want to know what that path looks like now. codebar is a non-profit of students and coaches that runs free coding meetups for women, LGBTQ+ people and others underrepresented in tech, in a deliberately collaborative setting. At Le Wagon's Carrer de la Diputacio space, 18:30 to 20:30. Why go: free one-to-one coaching from working developers is scarce, and the codebar format is built for people who find the usual meetup intimidating. Best for career switchers and self-taught beginners.

A hands-on session on Devin, the AI software engineering agent: what it is, how to hand it a task, how to review what it gives back, and how to fit it into an existing workflow. Itnig hosts at its cafe in Poblenou. The agenda is set - registration 18:00, introduction 18:30, an hour of building with Devin from 19:00, project presentations at 20:00, then networking. No speakers are named. Free, capacity limited, attendance has to be confirmed. One caveat from the page itself: the header says the session is in Spanish while the practical information says English with English Q&A. Worth asking the organisers before you commit. The Barcelona edition of DevOpsDays, two days on 13 and 14 November at BAU, Centre Universitari d'Arts i Disseny, in Poblenou. DevOpsDays is a volunteer-run community conference series rather than a vendor event. Friday 13 Nov is workshops, with registration at 13:30 in three tracks (two English, one Spanish). Saturday 14 Nov is the main conference: check-in and breakfast 07:30, opening 08:00. Platinum sponsors are Datadog, Grafana Labs and Progress, with Red Hat as supporter. CETT Fundació's annual entrepreneurship morning at the Hotel Universitario Alimara, built around the pitches for the 22nd Premios Proyectos Emprendedores. The pitch is explicitly for people who work with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric day to day, and the group makes a point that nobody in the room is too new or too expert to ask a question. A full day building with Codex at Itnig Cafe, run as a community hackathon. A short introduction and Codex updates first, then building solo or in teams, closing with live demos and prizes. OpenAI engineers and experienced Codex users will be on hand to help, though no mentors are named. You can submit an idea or an existing Codex project on the registration form, and selected projects get showcased during the day. 10:00 to 17:00 on the Saturday, in Spanish, free. TestLab is the second networking session of Barcelona Activa's Idees amb Futur 2026 programme, aimed at young women entrepreneurs. Held in the Sala Emprèn at the Glòries entrepreneurship centre, 17:00 to 20:00. Participants bring one validation question (target audience, customer need, business model or pilot) and work it through with peers and ecosystem players. Expect sector contacts and concrete next steps rather than talks. Free, but places are limited, so register on the Barcelona Activa site. Why go: a small working room for pressure-testing an early idea with people who've been through it. Best for young women founders at idea or pre-MVP stage.

The late-November edition of womanTech Barcelona's free monthly meetup at La Fuga — an evening for women working in technology to connect, swap experience and build the relationships that move a career along. Consistently one of the warmer rooms in the city's meetup calendar.

A full day at Bcombinator Hub on getting AI out of pilot projects and into operations, covering real cases, scaling and governance. Doors and welcome coffee 10:00, kick-off 10:30, then a keynote on democratising AI innovation at 10:45. The rest runs as a lounge programme with a live roundtable, demos, terrace networking, meeting rooms and open work areas, finishing at 18:00. Bcombinator puts past editions at over 150 founders, more than 30 investors and more than 20 AI specialists. No speakers are named on the registration page yet. The Barcelona edition of Women in Agile Europe, a one-day non-profit conference on the Friday, with a keynote and the New Voices sessions that put first-time speakers on the main stage. The stage is for women and non-binary speakers; the audience is open to everyone. Lunch, snacks and drinks are included. Tickets are 205 euros for the conference day, 280 with the Thursday speakers dinner, 270 with the Friday closing dinner and 345 with both; a two-person ticket takes 60 euros off and a five-person group 150.
