Founder Fireplace Chat Series Fall 2026 Episode 3: Fernando Dellepiane

Fernando Dellepiane, co-founder and CEO of Vermut, in conversation at MOB Bailèn. He and two former Glovo colleagues started building for people over 55 in 2020; Vermut is now a platform where older adults sign up for activities, from vermouth and zumba classes to day trips. The published agenda is specific: why the gap between retirement and dependency is Europe's most under-served consumer market; what designing for a user nothing like you teaches a team that came out of Glovo's user experience work; moving from per-transaction payments to subscription and building a B2B2C tool for the partners who run the activities; and raising a 1.5 million euro round led by BITKRAFT with Gaingels and Calm/Storm while opening a US entity. Open questions at the end. 20.21 euros, 18:00 to 20:30. Third of four in the Legnds autumn series. Why go: a founder talking numbers and mechanics rather than highlights, about a market almost nobody in Barcelona is building for. Best for consumer founders and anyone raising internationally.
