Media Party makes its European debut after 15 editions in Buenos Aires and the United States, turning CaixaForum Barcelona into a two-day working laboratory for journalists, developers, designers, product managers, researchers and media strategists. The agenda tackles a single question: how do we sustain the integrity of information in the post-search era and the age of generative AI? Keynotes come from Nic Newman (Reuters Institute), Clara Jiménez Cruz (Maldita.es), Chema Alonso (Cloudflare) and Dmitry Shishkin, alongside hands-on workshops on newsroom AI governance, local LLMs for investigative work, building your own verification system, and content markets for the agentic internet — plus pitch sessions, a project fair and two blocks of lightning talks.
