About this event
The West Midlands AWS user group's December meetup, hosted by Accenture at Cornerblock in the city centre.
Three speaker sessions across the evening on AI, generative and agentic AI on AWS, service updates spanning Amazon EKS, security and data, practical approaches to cloud modernisation and cost optimisation, and lessons from running production cloud workloads. Registration and networking from 17:30, talks from 18:15, community discussion and Q&A at 20:15, then a social in a local pub. Speaker names and session titles had not been published when we listed this. Free, and first-time attendees are welcome.
Why go: the group draws people who operate AWS in production rather than evaluate it, and the cost-optimisation and EKS material is the kind of thing rarely written down. Best for cloud engineers, platform teams and architects across the West Midlands.
