About this event

A five-hour team competition at the Politecnico di Milano in which each team builds an AI agent to run a company in a simulated market. Agents bid for raw materials at auction, plan production and set prices turn by turn; every team trades in the same market and all decisions resolve simultaneously, so being outbid changes what your agent should do next. Run by AIRIC with PMDS in the Sala conferenze Emilio Gatti at DEIB, Via Giuseppe Ponzio 34/5, from 14:00 to 19:00. English. Free with registration. Why go: a pricing simulation with live opponents teaches more about agent design in an afternoon than a term of reading, because your agent fails against someone else's and you can see why. Best for ML and data students, quant-minded engineers and anyone building decision agents.
