About this event
A lunch research seminar at the POLIMI School of Management on bringing people and communities back into operations and supply chain management research. The session argues that a field built on flows, nodes and optimisation has tended to abstract away the humans inside the system, and looks at what changes methodologically and theoretically when workers and affected communities are treated as subjects rather than parameters. Open to researchers and doctoral students. Free to attend.
