Sustainability Month: Green Software Italia 5th Meetup

The fifth official meetup of Green Software Italia, the Italian community for people who measure and reduce the carbon cost of the software they build. Part of the community's Sustainability Month programme. Held at Libreria Verso, an independent bookshop in Porta Ticinese, from 18:30 to 20:30. The evening mixes short community talks on sustainable engineering practice with open discussion, and the group's regular themes are carbon-aware architecture, measurement and accessibility. Free, registration required. Why go: green software is still a thin field in Italy and this is the one room in Milan where people actually doing the measurement compare notes rather than repeat vendor claims. Best for backend and platform engineers, architects and anyone with a sustainability target attached to an engineering budget.
