AI on Rails — Ruby meets Generative AI

AI Tinkerers Paris and ParisRB.new join forces for an evening on the intersection of Ruby, Rails and generative AI, hosted at Algolia's Paris office. The bar is explicitly show, don't tell: no pitch decks, no slideware — raw working code, terminal sessions and live deployments from developers orchestrating models, managing vector search and structuring prompts natively in Ruby. Five-minute technical show-and-tells are open for proposals, and early-stage prototypes and fragile builds are actively welcomed. A decentralised Science Fair runs during the networking blocks, inspired by the Homebrew Computer Club: set up a laptop, walk peers through your codebase, run local models, get direct feedback. Capacity is capped at 100 and registrations are manually screened with priority to active builders — complete your profile with GitHub or portfolio links.
