ELLIS UnConference 2026

A one-day European machine-learning gathering at the Palais des Congrès, the day before the NeurIPS Paris venue opens. The format is twenty contributed sessions running in parallel, ten in the morning and ten in the afternoon, plus keynotes and a two-hour poster session to close. The accepted sessions are the draw: Randall Balestriero, Julia Kempe and Yann LeCun on what a world model should remember; Frank Hutter and Marine Le Morvan on tabular foundation models; Nuria Oliver and Adrian Weller on whether agentic AI deployment has hit its tipping point; Gustau Camps-Valls and Markus Reichstein on AI for Earth and climate. The organising committee is CNRS, Inria and ENS researchers. Opening remarks 08:30, keynotes 09:00, sessions from 10:30, posters 16:30 to 18:30.
