Photonics Excellence Day 2026

The seventh edition of Systematic Paris-Region's photonics day, co-organised with Sorbonne Université in Amphi 25 at Jussieu. Four strategic themes across the day: photonics and nuclear, photonics and decarbonisation, a round table on photonics as a lever of technological sovereignty, and photonics for AI. Around 100 professionals — SMEs, large industrials, researchers and students. Named speakers include Guillaume Laffont (CEA), Christian Simon (Sorbonne Université FabLab), Ronald Berger-Lefébure (Iumtek), Frédéric Delbos (Vaisala), Isabelle Bouessay (IPVF), Karl Durocher (Horiba France), Sébastien Daveau (Xfab), Thomas Antoni (CentraleSupélec) and the founders of Ncodin, Icon Photonics, h-nu and LumiAIres. The programme is provisional and more speakers are being added. Free for members in good standing, €89 otherwise.
