Wednesday 29 July— 1 event

Le Carlie, 75003 Paris

with Emmanuel Orozco (Speaker — What Exactly Is Loop Engineering?, Hold My Club)

A night for people building with AI, pitched at every level from shipping agents to merely agent-curious. This edition goes deep on loop engineering: the plan, act, observe, repeat cycles at the heart of every AI agent, and how to design them so your agents stop getting stuck, going in circles, or burning tokens for nothing. Emmanuel Orozco opens with a short talk on what loop engineering actually is, and there is an open call for five-minute demos — an agent loop, an eval trick, a tool you love. The bulk of the evening is Collaboration Rounds: fast one-to-one conversations built to surface what others are building, what they are debugging, and what they are open to collaborating on. Closes with a team quiz and a small prize.

with Fabrizio Nastri (CEO, FlexUp)

FlexUp's twenty-fifth Startup Networking Workshop at Station F, and the series keeps running through the August lull when most of the Paris calendar has gone quiet. The format is a small curated session for early-stage and growing startups, project leaders, and the ecosystem partners who actually work with startups — a focused presentation followed by open networking. Attendance is deliberately capped so that the exchanges mean something: this is not a room where you collect thirty business cards and remember none of them. Hosted by FlexUp CEO Fabrizio Nastri at the world's largest startup campus. 90 minutes, free, and a dependable option if you are in Paris in early August and want the ecosystem in one room.

Algolia Paris, 75008 Paris

AI Tinkerers Paris and ParisRB.new join forces for an evening on the intersection of Ruby, Rails and generative AI, hosted at Algolia's Paris office. The bar is explicitly show, don't tell: no pitch decks, no slideware — raw working code, terminal sessions and live deployments from developers orchestrating models, managing vector search and structuring prompts natively in Ruby. Five-minute technical show-and-tells are open for proposals, and early-stage prototypes and fragile builds are actively welcomed. A decentralised Science Fair runs during the networking blocks, inspired by the Homebrew Computer Club: set up a laptop, walk peers through your codebase, run local models, get direct feedback. Capacity is capped at 100 and registrations are manually screened with priority to active builders — complete your profile with GitHub or portfolio links. Enter via 3-5 rue de Bucarest, not the rue d'Amsterdam address on maps.
