Criminal Law and Cybersecurity

A two-hour morning panel at Luiss, built around the book by Paola Severino and Antonio Gullo on criminal law and cybersecurity, held in the Toti lecture theatre on the Viale Romania campus. The line-up is the reason to pay attention. Paola Severino, president of the Luiss School of Law, gives the welcome; opening remarks come from Lorenzo Mariani, CEO and general manager of Leonardo, and Nunzia Ciardi, deputy director general of the National Cybersecurity Agency. The discussion brings in Ivano Gabrielli, director of the Postal and Communications Police cyber service, Giuseppe F. Italiano, Luiss vice-rector for AI and digital skills, and Giovanni Melillo, national anti-mafia and anti-terrorism prosecutor. Antonio Gullo moderates. Runs 11:00 to 13:00 in Italian, with open registration through a public form. No price is published. Why go: Italy's cyber enforcement and prosecution leadership in one room, in public, which does not happen often. Best for people working on security, govtech or compliance, and for anyone whose product touches Italian criminal liability.
