PyData Roma Capitale × RomaJS Meetup @ Sourcesense

A joint evening meetup for Rome's Python/data and JavaScript communities, hosted in Sourcesense's offices on Via del Poggio Laurentino. The agenda runs 18:30 welcome and check-in, 19:00 first talk, 19:40 second talk, then Q&A, networking and drinks from 20:20 to 21:00. Talk one is Egon Ferri on "Beyond Benchmarks: What ARC Teaches Us About Measuring Intelligence", tracing François Chollet's 2019 paper on the measure of intelligence through to the ARC benchmark and what it says about whether current evaluations measure reasoning at all. The second slot was still to be announced at listing time. The organisers ask for an RSVP because capacity is limited. No price is published. Why go: PyData Roma Capitale and RomaJS rarely run together, and the ARC talk is a real argument about evaluation rather than a model demo. Best for data and web engineers in Rome who want peers outside their own stack.
