Eight thematic panels cover digital skills beyond the PNRR funding window, AI applied to heritage, European digital strategies, data management, innovation partnerships and digital preservation infrastructure. The second annual conference on how Italian public administrations should actually introduce AI, run by the think tank Concreta-Mente with Sapienza's DIAG department of computer, control and management engineering, held at DIAG on Via Ariosto. The 2026 edition is about the decision itself: which areas and use cases to target, which technologies to pick, and which implementation approach. The use cases presented were selected by a scientific committee through an open call for papers, and contributions come from academics and serving public administrators rather than vendors. The stated aim is to pool operational experience and work towards a shared adoption model. Doors at 17:15, running 17:30 to 20:00, in Italian. The agenda covers Italian and EU rules landing now on data governance, cybersecurity, digital and AI, second-half 2026 deadlines, Garante provision 476 of 18 June 2026, and governing the digital services and AI tools companies actually buy: planning, DPIA, privacy by design across purchase, rollout and go-live, and where liability sits between company and supplier. The Innovation Group's annual close-of-year fixture on Italian digital policy, this year built around technological sovereignty: where dependence on foreign infrastructure and models actually ends, what sovereign cloud and sovereign AI mean in practice, and which borders are being redrawn between institutions, large enterprises and vendors. It runs across two days and two venues: 18 November at Casina Valadier by invitation, and 19 November at Spazio Vittoria, free with prior registration. The monthly Rome edition of Mindstone's practical AI meetup, built around three short talks rather than open networking. The published running order is what one speaker learned building a product with LLMs, a step-by-step demo of using AI to speed up everyday work, and a talk on what AI does to work and society. Doors at 18:00, talks from 18:30 to 19:35, then pizza, drinks and networking until 21:00. Talent Garden Roma on Via Ostiense hosts. Free and capped at 100 places, and registration is on Mindstone's own platform - the Meetup RSVP is not the ticket. Speakers for the November edition were not published at the time of writing. The closing event of RecruIT AI, Confcommercio Roma's project on artificial intelligence for human resources, supported by the Rome Chamber of Commerce. Two hours on what the project produced and the tools built to bring AI into HR processes gradually and checkably. It starts from the mapping of AI solutions for HR and the questions gathered from business owners and people managers, then moves to company adoption stories: choices made, difficulties met, benefits and lessons. Four areas: selection and recruitment, automation of HR processes, data analysis to support decisions, and training and skills development. It closes by handing over practical tools for planning next steps. It follows the June launch and the 20 October Arena at Zest. No speakers are announced on the page. The eighth New Space Economy Expoforum, themed 'Space Reloaded: Recreating the Future', run with the Italian Space Agency at Fiera Roma. Three days of technical and scientific conference sessions sit alongside a startup pitch competition, an educational hub, careers sessions and an exhibition floor carrying the European space supply chain. 25 to 27 November at Via Portuense 1645. The scientific committee is chaired by Elda Turco Bulgherini, former ASI vice president, and includes Roberto Aceti of OHB Italia, David Avino of Argotec, Massimo Claudio Comparini of Leonardo's space division, Luca Del Monte of ESA and Luca Rossettini of D-Orbit.
