Product & Tech: Betting the Company — High-Risk Product Decisions

A panel on the product calls that can sink a company: when to take the risk, when to trust instinct, when to turn round, and how you decide any of it on incomplete information. Marta Padilla, SVP of engineering at Eurowag, and Alberto Gutierrez, a product and tech advisor, take the questions; Chloe Beck, product manager at Talent-C, moderates. The hosts are Talent-R, a Barcelona tech recruitment firm, and the evening runs from their Rambla de Catalunya office with food and drinks after. Free, 18:00 to 21:00. Registration goes through Luma rather than Meetup: the Meetup RSVP on its own will not get you a place. Why go: senior engineering and product people talking about decisions that went badly as well as ones that went well, which is rarer than it should be. Best for product managers, engineering leads and founders weighing a bet-the-company call.
