The role
What you’ll do
- Lead the engineering productivity strategy, including agentic delivery from planning to deployment
- Own the roadmap for CI/CD, release automation, observability and developer experience
- Run the engineering operating rhythm and metrics on delivery, quality, reliability and cost
- Drive cloud cost optimisation and manage tooling vendors, contracts and renewals
What you’ll need
- Substantial engineering leadership in SaaS, cloud, DevOps, SRE or developer experience
- Hands-on grasp of AI-assisted and agentic software development
- Experience measuring engineering productivity by outcomes rather than activity
- Background in cloud cost management, vendor contracts and technical procurement
Good to know: Estimated salary £141,200 to £211,800. Manchester or remote. Equity, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, 5 volunteering days, private health insurance and a pension.
