Milano Digital Week 2026 — The Generative City

The ninth edition of Milano Digital Week runs across the city from 30 September to 4 October under the theme 'La città generativa' — the generative city. The festival programmes workshops, talks and plenaries on how digital technology and AI create new urban connections, services and forms of participation, spread across roughly 95 locations with a central hub at Smart City Lab. Six thematic tracks cover digital for business, education and work, digital citizenship, technologies, smart city, and culture, art and sport, with Knowledge Hubs hosted by Cefriel, Le Village by CA, MEET Digital Culture Centre, STEP FuturAbility District and others. Announced anchor sessions address the generative city in the age of AI (1 October) and the augmented city of intelligent services and digital infrastructure (2 October). Most sessions are free.
