What's Next in Video Tech? Milan Video Tech In-Person Meetup

The Milan Video Tech Meetup returns for a late-afternoon session on streaming, quality of experience and the newer web video standards, hosted at NTT Data's Milan headquarters. Four fifteen-minute talks, in Italian or English depending on speaker. Fabio Sonnati of NTT Data on the state of the art in video streaming optimisation; Alessandro Frasca of Rai on how Rai's video QoE works; Will Law of Akamai on collaborative MOQ development with OpenMOQ; and Pietro Zanella of Sky Italia on turning 16:9 into 9:16 in a browser tab with no servers. Hosted by Luca Moglia. 17:45 to 20:00, Via Ernesto Calindri 4; NTT Data covers the room, food and drinks. Free, and 49 people are already attending. Why go: four broadcast and CDN engineers from Rai, Sky, Akamai and NTT Data in one room is a line-up a paid conference would advertise. Best for streaming and media engineers, and anyone shipping video at scale.
